Why Physical Therapy?

Molly’s path to physical therapy was inspired by her aunt, who worked as a PT with Parkinson’s disease and multiple sclerosis patients. While observing these sessions, Molly was struck by how appreciative the patients were of the care they received and how happy they were to attend therapy, despite facing terminal neurologic diagnoses.

This eye-opening experience showed Molly the profound impact physical therapists can have on quality of life. It made her want to help people feel better, connect with them on a meaningful level, and truly make a difference in their lives. That calling has driven her ever since, from her education at Ithaca College through her diverse clinical experiences to her current practice at Zarett Rehab.
